This 14 – Days tour focuses on providing you with a high-quality birding experience.


With a starting point in the city of Manizales, our first stop will be Rio Blanco Reserve, a mecca for Antpitta lovers and other specialties. Then we will head to a Paramo ecosystem in Los Nevados National Park, here we will look for Paramo specialties such as Buffy Helmetcrest, Rufous-fronted Parakeet and many more. After that we will visit Termales del Ruiz Hotel which has some nice hummingbird feeders and tanagers in its surroundings. From there we will look in the municipality of Santa Rosa, for one of the most threatened Parrots in the world, Indigo-winged Parrot will be our target for this day.

Our next destination will be Otun Quimbaya a Really beautiful reserve were the endemic Cauca Guan, Crested-ant Tanager and Multicolored Tanager can be seen. We will leave the Central Andes to go to Western Andes (Choco Region) one of the richest ecosystems in the world, here we will visit Montezuma one of Colombia's main hotspot. We will continue our journey through the Western mountains and next time it will be in Sonso Lagoon in Cauca Valley, here we will make a stop and look for some aquatic birds. We will close this tour in Anchicayá Valley and Km 18 two great hotspots that certainly will deliver great birds and wonderful experiences.
